Terms of Service

RentEase is a Ghana-only property marketplace and transaction platform. We provide listing discovery, bookings, offers, agreement generation, payment flows, and owner management tools. We operate as an intermediary and do not provide legal advice or property management services unless explicitly contracted separately.

You must provide accurate account, verification, and listing information, keep your credentials secure, and use the platform lawfully. Misrepresentation, fraud, abusive conduct, or attempts to bypass platform rules may lead to suspension or account closure.

Until a deal is complete, all contact, negotiation, viewings and payments for a property found on RentEase must happen on RentEase. You must not share or ask for phone numbers, email addresses, social media or messaging-app details, links, or bank or mobile-money details in messages, listings or offers, or suggest paying or meeting outside the platform. We automatically hide such details and record each attempt. After a warning, a third attempt within 30 days suspends the account automatically while our team reviews it. If we find that either party, or both, tried to negotiate, arrange a viewing or take payment outside RentEase, we may cancel the deal and suspend or permanently close the accounts involved. Contact details on a paid, published realtor profile page are allowed; deal conversations still follow these rules. You can appeal a suspension by contacting support.

For rentals and purchases, payment is made through RentEase and held in escrow before any viewing is arranged. Contact details are shared by RentEase only once a viewing is confirmed. Funds are released to the owner or seller only after the viewing and handover are confirmed and, for purchases, the buyer confirms the property documents were received. If the property does not match the agreement, the funds stay held while we review the dispute, and a refund may follow less any non-refundable amount stated in the agreement.

Using RentEase means you consent to our collection, processing, and retention of personal data, identity verification data, payment details, transaction records, and communication history as described in our Privacy Policy. Certain platform features require this data to operate and complete transactions.

RentEase may charge commission, transaction, or subscription fees depending on the product. Payments, escrow, refunds, and releases are handled through our approved providers and governed by applicable platform policies.

We may verify users, keep audit logs, review behavior, and take action to prevent fraud, abuse, or unsafe conduct. RentEase provides factual records and support for disputes but does not act as an arbitrator or guarantee dispute outcomes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RentEase disclaims warranties and limits liability for the platform, listings, transactions, and third-party providers. Continued use after updates means you accept revised terms, subject to any mandatory legal rights.
